BTS shares some love advice on ‘Entertainment Tonight’

BTS will be performing at this year’s American Music Awards (Sunday, November 19) and in the meantime they’ve been doing a lot of press. Entertainment Tonight had the chance to sit down with the K-pop group and got them to open up a little about their dating lives. They didn’t elaborate with too many details but they did express their thoughts on being single. They also discussed what some of the most important things you need to do before you decide to get serious with someone.

Group member RM, had this to say:

“When we don’t have a boyfriend or girlfriend, we always say, ‘Oh, I’m so lonely. I want a date,’ or something like that. But I think the biggest love we’re all searching for is the love for one’s self. If you want to love others, I think you should love yourself first.”

Overall, BTS are too busy to be seeing anyone, Suga assured Entertainment Tonight that there are still ways to get emotional satisfaction:

“I think there’s a lot of different kinds of love, not just between a boyfriend and girlfriend, but love with your family, love with the people around you. I think that’s really important, and I think would really be a good thing for the world, and make a better world for everybody.”

On a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy snagged two mothers of super fans out of the very, very long line of fans waiting to see BTS perform on the late night show. The women were pulled out of line under the guise of being interviewed for the show. The two mothers actually FaceTimed their daughters to show them they were hanging out in one of the Jimmy Kimmel Live green rooms with BTS. The daughters’ reactions were pretty insane but they did eventually get to meet the group. On Tuesday night, the group also made an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

They really weren’t lying when they said they were too busy to be in relationships!
