DJ receives death threats after insulting Louis Tomlinson

An Australian DJ has come under fire after he made a comment about Louis Tomlinson. The situation has since progressed and now the DJ finds himself in the middle of a bitter hate campaign. In a pre-recorded interview with he Hit Network’s breakfast show, co-hosts Ed Kavalee and Ash Williams, asked DJ Ash London which member of the band [One Direction] he would be.

“So we’re clear, because I’m a very visual guy… he’s the guy with the smaller face with the short brown hair?” asked Ash Williams.

“Kind of like, ratty facial hair,” Ash London replied, as Ed waded in saying, “He’s not Harry Styles basically. He’s the least popular one.”

Ash put her Twitter account on private to escape he backlash, but briefly went back to public to share a statement insisting she ‘loves’ Louis and describing him as a ‘total legend’:

“This morning on air we had a great interview with Louis. As always – he was a total legend. I loved talking about how far he’s come, his new music and his future which looks so bright. We love Louis and we will continue supporting him and his new music as we always have done.”

The anger was reunited when Louis Tomlinson himself commented on her post, writing, “Probs best to stay on private for a bit longer love!” along with a middle finger emoji. Ash went on to release a second statement about the incident:
