Drake has been touring Australia extensively and it was at one of these particular shows that Drake took a stand against sexual assault. The singer stood up for a woman in the middle of his performance. In a video posted after the event, Drake can be seen stopping the concert to point out a person in the crowd, telling him to stop touching women:
“If you don’t stop touching girls, I’mma come out there and f*ck you up.”
The crowd goes wild after Drake takes a stand and soon he has an entire arena backing his statement. The person apparently responds to Drake because he reiterates, “I’m not playing with you, bro.” He then says again, “If you don’t stop putting your hands on girls, I’m going to come out there and f*ck you up.” More words are then briefly exchanged before it appears that security escorts a person out of the crowd.
Many are finding the situation refreshing considering all of the sexual assault allegations in Hollywood at the moment. Drake, along with other famous figures, have chosen to make his opinion about the situation known. The way Drake reacted may seem abrupt but it reinforces the need to put a stop to sexual assault as soon as it occurs!
Other celebs who have chosen to take a stand against sexual assault include the stunning and talented actress, Gal Gadot. Gal threatened to pull out of Wonder Woman 2 if Warner Bros. did not make sure that Brett Ratner (accused of sexual assault) was unable to profit from from the second installation. Lady Gaga and Joe Biden are also furthermore working together to help combat the after effects of sexual assault. Visit the links for more information on the two different situations.
