Kendall Jenner (22) was dubbed the highest paid model for 2017 by Forbes. According to the company, Kendall earned $22 million during the course of the year. She edged out Gisele Bundchen (37) who has reigned the chart since 2002. Talk about a game changer! Gisele brought in $17.5 million this year. Chrissy Teigen came in third with $13.5 million – some of those millions will definitely going toward Chrissy and John Legend’s growing brood!
There is no doubt that the Kardashian empire has contributed to Kendall’s success but she has also dominated the catwalk regardless of that name. Her advertising campaigns and clothing line have all definitely added to her success and placement at number one. Kendall boasts lucrative deals with Estée Lauder, La Perla and Adidas, as well as running her Kendall + Kylie clothing line with her sister, Kylie Jenner, and cashing more fees from paid-for posts distributed to her 85 million followers on Instagram. The respect is definitely there and it has to be at her credit. She’s gained the respect of her peers, designers and of her fans.
A refreshing addition to the list is Ashley Graham, who comes in at 10th place. She earned $5.5 million through the course of 2017. Ashley is also the first ever curve model to make the Forbes highest-paid rankings.
