With two top 10 singles, a top 10 album and a number 1 record courtesy of their hook up with Olly Murs, it’s fair to say that Rizzle Kicks had a bit of a whirlwind end to 2011. Although with the album now out, Jordan and Harley are fully focused on the next single – and this time they’ve brought back up.
“Over a year ago before we were signed, we came up with a dream list of producers we wanted to work with and Norman was at the top of that list.” Harley explains… “Our future A&R man tracked him down in our hometown Brighton and just casually brought him along to meet us at a tea shop in Brighton. Not only did he agree to work with us but told us he was already a fan of our work… we pretty much lost our… I mean the man is a legend,” adds Jordan.
The result of this relationship is, perhaps unsurprisingly, the biggest party anthem to be taken from their top 10 debut album ‘Stereo Typical‘.
Sampling country guitars, skippy beats, playful rhymes and a massive soul hook for a chorus, it’s near impossible not to sing-a-long on the dancefloor. And we haven’t even mentioned ‘The Hump’ dance yet – get ready to see James Corden (and many others) all doing their thing in the video!
The single will also come equipped with an almighty remix package from the likes of Bimbo Jones, Benji Boko, Vato Gonzalez and Freemasons – all coming to a dancefloor near you soon.
