Scientists, time to show off your brilliant ideas

The FFS Expo For Young Scientists will be taking place at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Westville Campus on the 25th and 26th of July. Entries will be accepted up until the 30th of June, late entries until the 5th of July.

All participants will receive a certificate of participation and the best projects will be awarded prizes of gold, silver and bronze medals. 30 medal winners will be given the opportunity to go on a four-day tour to places of scientific interest in KZN and Gauteng.

Entrants must be in Grade 8 – 12 and the project entries must be in the form of a display, file containing research and results and a large poster to display the results on. There are 41 categories in the different scientific fields you could enter, to name a few: energy innovations, electronics and robotics, agricultural science, maths, statistics and microbiology.
