Billy Ray Cyrus will be releasing his album, Set The Record Straight, on November 10 and the collection will include collaborations with his daughters Miley and Noah. All of this was revealed on Tuesday (October 31) during his appearance on Today with Kathie Lee and Hoda. Miley will appear on his track Stand and her younger sister, Noah will appear on a dance mix of Don Williams’ 1982 track, Tulsa Time.
At another point in the interview he talks about what it means to have staying power in a non-stop industry:
“You always gotta reinvent and you gotta love what you do and do it because you love it. Reinvention … I love music. That’s my passion, the kids’ passion.”
Cyrus also mentioned on previous occasions that his new set will still include some of his most famous tracks. He does say, however, that there will be some variations of the tracks:
“Some are new and have been an intricate part of ‘Still The King’ story lines. Others are new mixes and different styles of songs that allowed me to experiment with the diversity that is so much a part of my musical being. There are some collaborations with my musical heroes and a special tribute to one of my greatest influences of all time – Ronnie Van Zant and the members of Lynyrd Skynyrd.”
