The Grammy Awards 2017, everybody!

The Grammy Awards 2017, everybody!

The Grammy’s is one of the biggest award events in the music world; last night proved just why. Last night was the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, hosted by the hilarious James Corden. He ensured that the awards kick-off to a roaring start. The festivities were held at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Metallica, Katy Perry, John Legend, Bruno Mars and Adele are among the stars that performed at the event. Special tributes were also made to Prince (performed by Bruno Mars) and  George Michael (performed by Adele), both of whom we tragically lost last year.Grammy Awards

In a time of socio-political instability, many celebrities had their say when it came to the topic of Donald Trump. Many were wondering just how much politics would dominate the topic of conversation.  James Corden and Katy Perry were among those that had something to say. The biggest topic of the night proved to be Adele’s Mean Girls moment in which she broke her Grammy into two parts and gave the other part to Beyonce. Adele dedicated her acceptance speech to Beyonce, bring Queen B to tears. The moment was beautiful and celebrated the strength of women who unite instead of divide.
