Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance in College Station, Texas to help victims of hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria. At the One America Appeal Hurricane Relief benefit concert on Saturday, she performed to raise money for hurricane relief efforts. In addition, she said in her speech that she was donating $1 million herself:

“In a time of catastrophe we all put our difference aside and we all come together because we need each other or we can’t survive.”

Her audience included five former presidents: Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter, George Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush. She shared a photo of their place cards on Twitter, writing, “Now that’s what I call an audience.” Lady Gaga sang You and I to the presidents and performed a piano version of Million Reasons, explaining, “It’s about pain, and sometimes life gives us a million reasons why to give up, but we stick around.”
