SOUTH AFRICA’S HISTORY UNTOLD:
There is a general lack of knowledge and appreciation of South Africa history. A large population of South African’s were taught an augmented history of South Africa. Little is known about several unsung heroes who gave up their lives for the freedom that we enjoy today. Brand South Africa and the NHC have thus identified a need to educate the South African public about different aspects of the country’s history in a fun and engaging way.
So, in association with the NHC and Brand South Africa, we’ll be challenging 8 celebrities to play Khetiwe Zulu’s proudly South African board game, Did You Really Know?

Playing the Did You Really Know Game with a diverse range of influential celebrities is the perfect way to revive and share our interest in our heritage.
On 23rd September at 11h00 across Facebook Live and eNCA four teams will face off against each other and see who knows their country best.
The live stream will be facilitated by game creator, Khetiwe Zulu and will feature 8 well-know celebs and influencers:

HOST: KHETHIWE ZULU (AUTHOR AND BOARD GAME DEVELOPER)
Khethiwe has an Honours Degree in English from the University of Natal and has a passion for teaching, writing and communications.
Her specialities include script and speech writing, proof reading and editing, content and brand development. In 2019, she authored a book called: South African History Retold, a book informing the public about who our struggle heroes really were that have had street names as well as buildings named after them. This book was translated into iSiZulu. In 2020, she followed up with her second book, South African History Retold; A Beginner’s Guide to Women in the Liberation Struggle, that honours the many South African women who bravely fought for our freedom. She has also turned the books into a questions and answers board game called: Did you Really Know?
