Taylor Swift has finally given us what we’ve been waiting for for three years! The singer revealed on Wednesday that she will be releasing her 6th studio album this year. Reputation is set for release on Nov. 10, according to her Instagram. She also revealed that the first single from the record will be released tonight.
She also revealed the cover art for her new album. It features a black and white photo of Taylor dressed in casual clothing, with her signature red lips and a choker necklace. She is standing amid a backdrop of fake newspaper headlines and articles, all containing repeats of two words, “Taylor Swift.” The singer released a series of clips depicting a snake, which is an animal she has often been associated with by her critics.
Taylor has been in hiding for most of this year, staying out of the public eye and staying off of social media. She also hasn’t released an album in over three years. Her last single, the Zayn Malik collaboration I Don’t Wanna Live Forever, appeared on the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack and was released in December.
